  14th November 2013:

Juberry Fabrics & Designs is a new P&Q fabric outlet and sewing studio based just north of Newbury. They have a few places left on a New York Beauty with Invisible Machine Applique workshop with Dawn Cameron Dick on Tuesday 19th November.   14th April 2013:

The coach trip to Malvern for the Quilts UK Show is nearly full, but there are a few places left if you'd like to go but don't fancy the drive! The date is Saturday 18th May. The coach leaves from Broad Street in Wokingham, and free parking (weekends only) is available in the Council Offices car park at Shute End. Departure time is 8am and arrival at the Three Counties Showground is approximately 10am (when the show opens.) We depart from Malvern at 4pm, arriving back in Wokingham at about 6pm. The cost for members is £16 and non-members £18. This does not include entry to the show. Tickets can be bought at the door. Quilts UK is known to be one of the friendliest of all shows; do come and join us for a great day out!   14th April 2013: Kate Dowty is holding an Exhibition on 1st - 30th May Tuesdays to Saturdays 10:00am - 4:00pm at the Old Textile Centre, Main Street, Greenham Business Park, Newbury, RG19 6HW. The exhibition is called Captured in Cloth and is inspired by the landscape and coastline of West Dorset. Admission is £4.   3rd April 2013:

Loddon Quilters are holding a One Day Show on Thursday April 18th 10:00am - 4:30pm at Village Hall, Sherfield-on-Loddon, Hook, Hampshire, RG27 0EZ. There will be Quilts and more. Raffle, handcrafts for sale and excellent refreshments. Entry by donation to Sue Ryder charity.   20th February 2013:

"A Stitch in Time" - our own exhibition of Proverb and Linus Quilts - is being held at the Red Cross Centre, John Nike House,

There will also be a Quilters' Bring and Buy, delicious homemade cakes and refreshments, and a chance to visit the Red Cross Purpose-Built Emergency Control Room. Admission is £1.00.

  11th February 2013:

Doughty's will be holding their annual Fabric Sale at Charvil Hall (click here for map - Link opens in new window opens in new window) on Monday 18th February from 10:30 - 2:30. Admission is £1.00.

The Future Program page has been updated for 2013.

  14th January 2013:

This is a reminder to bring your mystery quilt to exhibit at the AGM, whether or not you have fully completed it (and a hanging sleeve is not necessary). Donít forget your proverb quilt either. Also, you need to return ALL library books so that the annual stock-take can be carried out.
