  17th September 2015:

  17th September 2015:

Construction of the charity quilt for our exhibition next year has started and several blocks have already been made and the sooner we can get all the blocks finished we can start to assemble them and they can be quilted ready for the exhibition in the spring. And on this subject - we would like to put out an appeal for some more fabric please because we've decided to expand the colour palette to be more like the original quilt from which the pattern was taken as we thought it was such a lovely colour scheme! You have already been generous with fabric donations but we find we need more of the following colours please: greens, light blue, turquoise, red, yellow and yellow-greens. If you feel you can donate some 100% cotton fabric, a quarter yard or more, then Sara will have some boxes for your donations at the meeting next Thursday.
